Business Case
Hokkaido University in Japan released a study showing that users of mobile devices were becoming demonstrably more forgetful. Healthcare institutions encourage patients to delegate responsibility for remembering meetings with doctors to their electronic devices. Novosoft solution was designed to provide appointment reminder functionality for the patients' mobile devices. Software provides dual notification via mobile phone and e-mail. User is able to login, manage and view appointments and receive notifications.
Solution
The software was developed using 3-tier architecture model:
User Interface layer based on application running on the mobile phone.
Application logic layer based on server-side scripts executed on the http server.
Database layer developed using relation database.
Communication between iApplication and server is based on the HTTPS protocol.
