The client turned to Novosoft after it successfully
accomplished smaller project - HTML-builder utility. During partnership
with the client, Novosoft created several new versions for FTP client,
and later upgraded it to professional FTP client. That FTP client
integrates state-of-the-art security standards including SSL via
FTP and HTTP, SSH2 and advanced S/Key password encryption, to ensure
that confidential business data stays that way.
In 2000 our client decided to create a cost-effective
alternative to VPN, WAN and Extranet deployment and administration
for secure data delivery. They wanted to reach a market segment
of biggest .com companies and hosting companies. Due to success
of previous FTP tools, the company had enlisted Novosoft to develop
FTP Secure Server.
Resulting product protects file transfers with
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and advanced SKEY password encryption.
When used in conjunction with FTP client, Secure FTP Server offers
a complete digital certificate management system, allowing Administrators
to create, sign, import, export and add digital certificates to
a trusted list.
In addition, Novosoft has enlarged line of the
client's products by developing map-builder, ZIP tool and site builder
applications.
Working with the company, Novosoft created reliable
and smooth-functioning environment for outsourced program development
using Microsoft Source Safe off-site, legacy Lotus-Notes based Requirements
Management, Change Management and Project Management systems. This
environment helps to minimize communication time and management
costs.
